The Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project is restoring high-value floodplains along the Murray River by reconnecting them to the river and building carefully designed infrastructure to support the seasonal wetting cycles that native plants and animals depend on.

The Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP) will get much needed water back onto nine high-value floodplains along the Murray River. Without this water, these iconic landscapes will continue to decline – along with the many native trees, animals and plants that depend on them.

Submissions open 23 April on the EES scoping requirements

The draft scoping requirements for four of the proposed Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP) sites will be released this Friday 23 April on the Engage Victoria website.

Putting the call out for community input into floodplain projects
